Business as Mission
Building and Operating the Tin Shack Bakery in Puna the last 18 years, from farmers market to Old Town Pahoa, we had to learn to roll up our sleeves, to open our hearts, sometimes to make tough decisions on behalf of the group. Business can truly be about people, not only the dollars, and so can legislation!

Hurricane Iselle, the 2014 Pahoa lava flow, and the 2018 Lower East rift zone. Pahoa has been resiliant through these serious recovery efforts and I have had the privilege to participate in the efforts along side community members, contractors, businesses, non profits and government
